Good Song!!

This is Evan Wickham (Phil Wickham's brother). This song is beautiful!! Had to share, his boys are cute in the background too. And whatever program he is singing/playing into is pretty cool!

I found a couple videos of Chris Tomlin at the Sears Centre - where we were!!! (Can you hear us singing?! hehe)

This Phil Wickham song really grew on me this weekend. Thought I'd share :)

The Lord is so faithful to remind us that not only can we come to Him boldy in our times of need, but He is also seeking us that He might show Himself through us...what a privilege! He is ALWAYS there. We do not deserve such grace and mercy from such a Holy God, but He gives it anyway - showing us what true love really is. :)

Hebrews 1:1-4

"God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when he had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they."

These verses leave me in awe of what an awesome Savior we serve!

"This song is about a longing to be with God and yearning for His presence. It’s about wanting to run deeper into Him, to know Him more, to continue moving forward. I had all of the music and melody written for this song a while before I sat down to write the lyrics. But Once I did sit down with a pen and a piece of paper it wasn’t very hard. The lyrics just spilled out onto the paper. The whole feel of the song is hopeful. Kind of like joy and urgency wrapped up in a bunch of drums, bass, electric guitars" - Phil Wickham
